Social Solidarity Minister Nivine el Kabbag announced the launch of “1000 kilometers” journey, which is implemented by her ministry in cooperation with the Egyptian Society of Cervical Endoscopy in the Upper Egyptian governorates.
The initiative mainly aims to raise awareness, train, and empower Egyptian women.
The initiative, which is held under the slogan of “Be One Step Ahead”, will kick off as of September 15 in Alexandria governorate and will then be launched in the governorates of Beni Suef, Meniya, Assuit, Sohag, Qena, Luxor and Aswan.
It will wrap up its proceedings in January 2024 in Cairo governorate.
This came during a press conference held by the minister to announce the details of launching the “1000 kilometers” journey.
