The cabinet, under Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, approved during its weekly meeting on Thursday the extension of the premier’s decision no. 48 of 2017 on the rules and conditions of ownership and licensing for use under the usufruct system for squatters on lands in the Sinai Peninsula for an additional one year.
The decision’s extension, which ends on 10/11/2024, comes in response to requests received from citizens in this regard.
