CAIRO – Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Industry and Transport Minister Kamel el- Wazir discussed on Sunday with Port Said Governor Mohb Habashi and investors challenges facing industrial areas in the governorate.
Talks tackled industrial areas and complexes in Port Said and underway plans to set up a new complex on an area of 73.3 feddans to serve small sized factories operating in the textile, ready-to wear clothes, engineering, chemical and food domains.
Wazir stressed that there are no unplanned industrial areas in the governorate, calling for paying inspection visits to factories to make sure they abide by necessary conditions as regards industrial licenses.
He expounded challenges facing investors, especially poor sewage network, exports procedures and lack of necessary utilities.
