CAIRO – Port Said customs department collected total taxes and fees of EGP 3,263,104 in August, according to a source at the department on Friday.
The source added that the central department of customs in Port Said, under Mohamed Hossam el Din, issued 10,762 customs clearance certificates in August for importing strategic goods.
It further noted that the taxes and customs duties collected on the import certificates amounted to nearly EGP 496.4 million.
