Egyptian Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy said Sunday that a cooperation protocol signed between his Ministry and the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) last month is meant to promote non-banking financial activities among youth.
It also serves goals of the Sports Ministry to upgrade the quality of life of Egyptian youth and hone their financial skills, Sobhy said as he inaugurated the first training program organized under the protocol at the Smart Village today.
Trainers should act to enhance awareness of the non-banking financial culture among their social and sports communities, the minister said.
He announced the launch of financial education activities and the activation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s initiative to upgrade levels of the financial culture and build money-management skills of youth and students. (MENA)
