CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli Thursday reviewed a report on efforts made by the Cabinet’s Supreme Medical Committee, under Hossam el-Masri, in April 2024.
Masri posted the premier on the committee’s response to nearly 985 emergency cases that have been reported through Whatsapp and social media pages.
He added said that the responses during April included 202 treatment-at-state-expense decisions made by the premier, alongside the issuance of 23 decisions to perform haploidentical bone marrow transplants.
He also underlined that the committee’s efforts during the past month included performing medical procedures for 121 tumor patients and gamma knife operations and installing prosthetic limbs and prosthetic devices for 24 persons with special needs.
