Within the framework of the “Life Boats ” and “Decent Life” initiatives,the National Alliance for Civil Development Work handed over 30 fishing boats equipped with the latest fishing tools to 30 small fishermen in Daqahliya Governorate.
This came in the presence of the Minister of Immigration, the Governor of Dakahlia and a delegation from the Decent Life Foundation . This move also came within the framework of the implementation of the presidential directives, giving special attention to the file of economic empowerment.
Such step helps promote the neediest groups as the small fishermen in the village were supported and a source of income was secured for them. More importantly , the fishermen are motivated to develop their craft by handing them over modern fishing boats equipped with a motor and modern fishing equipment .
Nabila Makram, Minister of Immigration, clarified that the state is keen on cooperating with all institutions to provide a decent life for citizens in the areas most exporting illegal immigration.
The fishermen , on their part, expressed their happiness , adding that these boats will help them earn a living and will bring back most of the fishermen to the profession.
