CAIRO – Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Monday discussed with European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi the activation of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Egypt and the European Union and the preparations for the investment conference scheduled to be held next month in Cairo.
Official Spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid said via his official account on the “X” platform that the meeting took place on the sidelines of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels.
The spokesperson added that the two sides also discussed enhancing the delivery of aid to Gaza and supporting the Palestinian Authority.
