Military Production Minister Mohamed Ahmed Morsi and Trade and Industry Minister Nivine Gamea inspected a light four-wheel vehicle model to substitute the tok-tok.
This vehicle model represents a proposed project to be implemented by the National Authority for Military Production and GB Ghabbour Auto to provide a substitute for tok-toks that has a dual system engine operating by benzine and natural gas.
The Ministry of Military Production is collaborating with the private sector to carry out this project in line with directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to implement an unprecedented ambitious plan for expanding the use of natural gas as car fuel.
Meanwhile, Gamea hailed the model as an eco-friendly vehicle that can reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The new vehicle model is suitable for narrow roads.
