OTTAWA – Egyptian Ambassador in Canada Ahmed Abu Zeid hailed the role of Egyptian churches worldwide to promote Egyptian expats’ sense of belonging to their homeland.
He stressed the embassy’s support for all efforts exerted within this context in Canada.
He made the remarks while attending the Easter mass in an Ottawa church.
In statements to MENA following the mass, Abu Zeid said he conveyed greetings of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to all Egyptian Coptic expats.
He wished love, prosperity and stability would continue to prevail Egypt. (MENA)
