CAIRO – Egypt stands fully ready to pump natural gas to Lebanon immediately after finalising the procedures related to the export process, affirmed Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Tarek el-Molla.
During his meeting with visiting Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water Walid Fayad, Molla said that Egypt is always ready to provide all the necessary support to Lebanon in the various petroleum activities.
This falls within the framework of the close ties binding Egypt and Lebanon and the political leadership’s continued support to Lebanon, added the minister.
For his part, the Lebanese minister extended thanks and appreciation to Egypt for its unwavering support to his country, especially during the current stage.
