Transport Minister Kamel el-Wazir asserted on Wednesday Egypt’s keenness to co-operate with all countries, forums and international institutions in the transportation fields.
This came during his online meeting with Young Tae Kim, Secretary-General of the International Transport Forum (ITF), in which a number of the forum’s leaders also attended the meeting.
The minister stressed Egypt’s eagerness to join the forum especially as Egypt has a great geographical position that links together Asian, African and European states.
He added that Egypt has also great plans to link with neighbouring countries through roads, railways and marine transport means.
He also pointed out that Egypt will organise the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) in Sharm el-Sheikh in November in which it will deliver its vision concerning developing the sustainable green transportation in order to reach the inclusive development required in all fields.
