The Fund for Honouring Martyrs, Victims, Missing Persons and Injured of War, Terrorism and Security Operations began on Sunday disbursing the first phase of payments under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s ‘Egypt With You’ initiative, which supports minors from the families of fallen members of the Armed Forces and police, as well as civilian victims and injured minors.
The programme, launched in January 2026 in co-ordination with Misr Life Insurance and the Central Bank of Egypt, provides annual payments in two instalments.
Beneficiaries who reach the age of 21 by 30 June receive their payments in the first week of July, while those turning 21 by 31 December receive theirs in the first week of January.
According to the Fund, the first phase has now been disbursed to eligible beneficiaries, with total payments amounting to 11.38 million Egyptian pounds, in co-ordination with the ministries of Defence, Interior and Social Solidarity.
Officials said the initiative reflects the state’s commitment to providing both moral and financial support to the children of martyrs, in recognition of the sacrifices made by their parents, who gave their lives to safeguard Egypt’s security and stability.
