CAIRO – Egypt’s International Cooperation Minister Rania el Mashat witnessed the signing of MoU among Bank of Alexandria, El Sewedy Education, and the Italian E4Impact organization to implement an agricultural entrepreneurship programme.
During the event, el Masaht praised the extended fruitful cooperation, dated back to 1975, between the Egyptian and Italian governments which reflected on supporting the sustainable development efforts in Egypt.
The minister cited debt swap programme for the development, run since 2001 between Cairo and Rome, as the program saw three phases worth 350 million dollars since then.
The new program targets supporting entrepreneurship in the agricultural field to meet the rising demand, increasing production, while maintaining the natural and environmental resources, as well as highlighting the importance of the agricultural field and the sustainable development to face the climate change.
