CAIRO – The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced that the annual core inflation rate accelerated to 40.3 percent in February 2023, compared to 31.2 percent in January 2023.
In a statement recently according to MENA, the CBE said that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) recorded a monthly rate of 8.1 percent in February 2023, compared to 1.2 percent in the same month of last year.
The CPI had recorded a monthly rate of 6.3 percent in January 2023.
