Egypt’s exports of insulation materials rose by 45 per cent in the first quarter of 2022 to stand at 14 million dollars against 10 million dollars in the corresponding period in 2021.

This came in a monthly report issued Wednesday by the Export Council for Building Materials, Refractory and Metallurgy Industries (ECBM).

Egypt exported insulation materials to 49 countries in four months, including 11 states which did not receive exports in the same period last year.

Five countries dominated 60.7% of total exports including Nigeria, Libya, India, Vietnam, the UAE and Indonesia, added the report.
