The President of Egypt’s National Council for Women (NCW), Amal Ammar, and Arab League Secretary-General, Nabil Fahmy, discussed on Sunday means of boosting Arab co-operation on women’s issues.
Ammar visited the Arab League headquarters, where she and Fahmy explored prospects to further promote women’s empowerment at the Arab and regional levels, exchange expertise, and enhance their role in achieving sustainable development goals.
The discussions stressed the importance of expanding regional co-operation to promote women’s participation in development and enhancing their contributions to the economic and social sectors.
