CAIRO – The Egyptian Embassy in Kiev urged Egyptians in Ukraine to get information through the embassy’s official Facebook page, titled “The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Kyiv”.

On its Facebook page, the embassy advised nationals not to obtain information from any sources, pages or groups except through the embassy’s official page.

The embassy said according to MENA that it will continue to follow up the situation around the clock and publish information and directions to the citizens on its official page.

It also called on nationals to follow continuously the embassy’s Facebook page and to not pay attention to any information that has not been published on it.

As for the Egyptian citizens in Western Ukraine, who have the ability to go to the borders with Poland, the Polish authorities allow entry to all nationalities and grant them on-arrival visa for 15 days.

Regarding citizens in Central and Southern Ukraine, the embassy advised them to stay at home until the situation calms down.
