CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli chaired on Wednesday the Cabinet weekly meeting at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital to discuss a number of key political, economic and social files.
During the meeting, the cabinet is scheduled to discuss a number of topics, including the premier’s recent visit to Beijing in September on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to attend the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Co-operation (FOCAC).
The meeting will also discuss a new package of tax facilities, in addition to President Sisi’s directives to the government to continue efforts to curb inflation and increase allocations for the health, education and social protection sectors.
It will also review means of achieving comprehensive development, boosting investments and exports and localizing industries within the framework of Sustainable Development Strategy (SDS): Egypt Vision 2030.
The cabinet will address the files of investment, industry, export, agriculture, making industrial lands available to investors, the social security umbrella and the tax and development files in the various sectors of the State as well as offering support to low-income brackets.
