Kuwait welcomes choosing Sheikh Mohamed as new president of UAE

KUWAIT CITY – The Kuwaiti cabinet welcomed the election of Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan as the new president of the UAE.

Choosing Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed reflected the unity of the Emirati people, as it embodied the keenness to continue the wise approach of the late Sheikh Zayed Al-Nahyan, and the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan”, the cabinet said in a statement quoted by KUNA news agency.

The Cabinet also affirmed its full confidence in the ability of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to continue the blessed march of the UAE on the path of progress and prosperity.

The Cabinet expressed confidence in Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed to complete his prominent role, experience and commitment to the values, and principles that characterize the sisterly United Arab Emirates since its inception.
