TUNIS – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, accompanied by a high-level ministerial delegation, arrived Thursday at Carthage International Airport, in Tunisia.
During the visit, Madbouli will lead Egypt’s delegation at the 17th session of the Egyptian-Tunisian Higher Committee meetings, which will kick off today and run for two days.
Tunisian Prime Minister Najla Bouden and Egypt’s Ambassador to Tunisia Ehab Fahmi were on hand to receive the Egyptian premier along with his accompanying delegation at the airport.
Upon arrival, Madbouli voiced happiness for visiting Tunisia and heading Egypt’s delegation at the meetings, which aim to boost bilateral co-operation.
For her part, Boudan welcomed Madbouli in his first ever visit to Tunisia, pointing out to Tunisia’s keenness on strengthening ties with Egypt.
