Cairo- The 88th session of the Council of Educational Affairs for the Children of Palestine kicked off here on Sunday at the Arab League premises and is to run for five days.
The meetings are to address the problems facing the educational process in the occupied Palestinian territories in light of Israeli oppressive practices, the educational process in the occupied city of Jerusalem amid Israeli attempts to judaize the holy city and impede the education of Palestinian studies in the territories.
The meetings will also approve the recommendations issued by the 107th Committee on Educational Programs for Arab Students in Occupied Arab Territories.
Addressing the session, Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League for Palestine and Occupied Arab Territories Ambassador Saeed Abu Ali said the Palestinian people’s suffering is still continued and even escalated with the Israeli righ-wing government’s decisions of daily attacking the Palestinian people, their sanctuaries and property.
He denounced the international silence over the Israeli crimes, calling for taking all necessary measures in accordance with the international legitimacy resolutions to protect the Palestinians.
