Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli inaugurated on Sunday the 27th edition of Cairo ICT (Cairo ICT 2023), the leading technology conference and expo in Africa and the Middle East.

The four-day event is held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The ministries of ICT, education, health, justice, and higher education and scientific research participate in this year’s edition.

The 10th edition of PAFIX expo and conference on e-payments and financial inclusion will take place on the margins of the event.

This year’s edition is held under the theme: “Ignite Innovation: Merging Minds & Machines for a Better World”. It will explore the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence and its potential to reshape our world when combined with human intellect.

From PAFIX to Insuretech, Manutech to Intellicities, DSS to Connecta, AI will take center stage, driving discussions and inspiring change.

Over 500 regional and international entities will gather to exchange ideas, share insights, and shape the future of technology. Despite the global geopolitical and economic challenges, the event continues to foster an environment of innovation, collaboration, and growth.

This year, China will have three large pavilions at the 4-day event to be held at Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo.

During this year’s edition, many Arab and foreign companies are expected to launch their first investments in Egypt, including Khazna, the leading commercial wholesale data center provider in the UAE, and Hayat Communications Co KSCP, a Kuwait-based company involved in the trade and contracting of electrical and communication equipment, wireless and wired telecommunications equipment and maintenance.
