Egypt’s Minister Military Production Mohamed Salah Eddin Moustafa asserted Wednesday his ministry’s keenness on implementing President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to localize modern manufacturing technology in various sectors.
He added that President Sisi also directed to increase the local component and achieve the value-added in the national economy, in parallel with efforts exerted to achieve comprehensive development of the military production companies and affiliated units within the framework of developing the production process and catering for the Armed Forces’ needs.
This came during his surprise visit to Helwan Company for non ferrous industries (Military Factory 63).
Minister was accompanied by Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the National Authority for Military Production Emil Helmy Elias.
During his inspection tour, the minister reviewed the performance and productivity indicators.
In statements, media advisor to the Minister of State for Military Production and official spokesman for the ministry, Mohamed Eid Bakr, said this tour comes within the framework of following up on progress made so far to implement the projects carried out by the subsidiary companies.
