The Decent Life Foundation witnessed the activation of the activities of youth centres during the opening of the Arab el-Sheikh Saleh Youth Centre in Giza Governorate.
This came as part of the presidential initiative Decent Life to develop the villages of the Egyptian countryside.
The opening activities included the establishment of various activities inside the centre amid joyful reactions from the people of the village of Arab Sheikh Saleh, which is affiliated to the tribal village of Arab Al-Hassar, south of Giza Governorate.
The event started by talking about the national project for the development of the Egyptian countryside, “Decent Life”, as well as the most important projects that are being implemented in Giza Governorate and the establishment of a new youth centre for the villagers.
The event also included an inspection tour of the Foundation’s members and volunteers to the centre and the administrative headquarters.
A football match was also held for the old athletes in the village and another match for the youth, in addition to a match for the children and some individual games in the hall designated for individual games.
This comes as part of the protocol concluded between the Decent Life Foundation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports to develop youth centres in governorates nationwide.
It also comes as part of the joint strategy between the two sides, which is based on empowering young people through participation in public life and implementing a series of programmes and projects under the major umbrella to unify all efforts of state institutions.
