Defending champions Al-Ahly was held to a 2-2 draw against Pyramids FC at the Al-Salam Stadium in the 27th week of the 2020-21 Egyptian Premier League season.
Al-Ahly’s goals came from right winger Hussein el-Shahat in the 52nd minutes as left winger Mahmoud Kahraba scored the second goal in the 82nd minutes.
Pyramids FC goals came through striker Ibrahim Adel in the 47th minutes as Burkina Faso midfielder Eric Traore scored the equaliser in the 93rd minutes.
The result left the Red Devils to third place with 42 points from 20 matches as Pyramids FC climbed to 8th place with 35 points from 23 matches.
