President Anwar Sadat has delivered a decisive speech marking May Day, asserting that Egypt will no longer accept a “freezing” of the current diplomatic situation. Addressing workers in Mahalla, the President declared that the nation must focus on liberating occupied territories and rebuilding society through a peace founded on justice. He further rejected international proposals to seize regional oilfields, describing the “American solution” as a myth and reaffirming Egypt’s commitment to ending the ongoing deadlock.
