Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Saturday inaugurated via the video-conference technique a set of development projects in the Upper Egypt governoarte of Beni Suef.

The inaugurated projects include Alrowad group for manufacturing HDPE (high-density polyethylene) pipes, which has contributed to mega national projects of wheat cultivation like Toskh, El Dabaa and Oweinat, along with providing gas pipes for the projects of “Decent Life” initiative.

The president is currently visiting Beni Suef and a number of its villages in order to be briefed on the situation there and progress achieved in the projects of “Decent Life” initiative.

He will open a number of projects in the Upper Egypt governorate.

President on Saturday inaugurated the Wastewater Treatment Plant in New Beni Suef city with a total capacity of 52,000 cubic meters per day.

He also opened Beni Suef National University, which is set up on an area of 40 feddans, at a total cost of EGP 3.7 billion.

The president inaugurated as well Ihnasya Hospital, which is an affiliate of the Ministry of Health and Population.

Dedicated to serving patients across Upper Egypt, the hospital is erected on an area of 16,000 square meters.
