Rafah port receives 35 injured Palestinians, their companions

RAFAH – Rafah border crossing has received 17 wounded Palestinians and 18 of their companions coming from hospitals in the Gaza Strip to receive medical treatment in Egypt, a reliable medical source in North Sinai said on Tuesday.

Ambulances rushed eight of the injured to Arish Public Hospital, while nine others were transported to the Italian Hospital in Arish City.

The official noted that Rafah crossing will continue to receive the injured Palestinian and treat them at the hospitals in North Saini, Ismailia, Port Said, Suez, Cairo and Giza.

The injuries of the wounded Palestinians varied from wounds, fractures to injuries to the head, eye and body.

The wounded Palestinians were transported from hospitals in the Gaza Strip to the North Sinai via Rafah by Palestinian ambulances.
