NEW DELHI – Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi published on his official Facebook page videos and photos of the participation of Egypt’s military contingent in the military parade marking India’s Republic Day in New Delhi, in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
President Sisi’s invitation to participate as chief guest in celebrations of India’s Republic Day reflects the close ties binding Egypt and India along with the appreciation of India for Egypt’s leadership, government and people.
President Sisi’s visit to India also coincides with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
