A policeman opened “random fire” from his personal weapon at an Israeli tourist group visiting Pompey’s Pillar site in Alexandria on Sunday, killing two Israeli tourists and an Egyptian civilian, as well as the injury of one other person, said a security source.
The policeman was arrested and legal action is being taken, added the source.
The injured was also transferred to the hospital for treatment, it further said.
