Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli chaired a meeting on Tuesday to follow up on the implementation of new recruitment procedures and the selection for leadership and supervisory positions across Egypt’s state administrative apparatus.

Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Culture Abdel Aziz Konsowa, and Minister of Planning and Economic Development Ahmed Rostom attended the meeting, alongside Head of the Administrative Control Authority Amr Adel Hosny, Head of the Central Agency for Organisation and Administration (CAOA) Hatem Nabil, Executive Director of the National Training Academy Solafa Goweily, and Deputy Director of the Egyptian Military Academy Mohamed Aboul Fotouh.

Prime Minister Madbouli stressed the importance of monitoring progress on administrative reform, particularly the governance of new appointments, promotions, and recruitment for leadership positions within the state administrative system, in line with President Abdel-Fattah El Sisi’s directives.

Those directives called for continued efforts to upgrade the state administrative apparatus to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and its ability to support the country’s comprehensive development agenda.

Cabinet spokesman Mohamed El-Homsani said the meeting reviewed the organisational procedures governing the recruitment of new employees into the state administrative apparatus.
