Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty has witnessed the signing of a framework agreement on strategic objectives to foster mutual economic prosperity between Egypt and the United States of America.
The signing ceremony was attended by Egyptian Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Sherif Farouk, and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ambassador Nader Zaki stated that the agreement establishes an operational framework to expand bilateral co-operation and accelerate economic growth by leveraging American technological and institutional innovations.
Ambassador Nader Zaki added that the partnership will focus on modernising Egypt’s water, energy, and infrastructure systems, while upgrading education, healthcare, and governance frameworks.
The initiative aims to advance workforce development, expand employment opportunities, and enhance food security through science-based agricultural practices, particularly across critical sectors including water resource management, artificial intelligence, and clean energy, the spokesman noted.
