Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli chaired a meeting on Sunday to follow up on preparations for Egypt’s host of the UN COP27.
The meeting was attended by Environment Minister Yasmin Fouad and Ambassador General Coordinator of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Organizational and Financial Aspects of COP27 Ashraf Ibrahim.
Madbouli asserted the political leadership’s keenness to render the summit successful to showcase Egypt’s regional and international position, Cabinet’s Spokesman Nader Saad said.
Fouad reviewed the most important steps which have been taken to prepare for the summit in the areas of logistics, accommodation, transportation, communication, health, visa, and registration.
During the meeting, representatives of the advertising company reviewed the suggested international media plan that aims to draw international attention to Egypt and the event.
