Morsi inspects re-positioning project in Factory 81

Egypt’s State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi inspected on Tuesday the re-positioning project in Heliopolis for Chemical Industries company (Factory 81).

During his inspection of the project, the minister said that the factory for manufacturing artificial grass, which was inaugurated in 2019, is a good example of cooperation between the State institutions, represented by the Military Production Ministry and the Sports and Youth Ministry.

The aim of this cooperation is to localize the turfgrass industry and transfer the technology applied in manufacturing artificial grass to companies affiliated with the Military Production Ministry.

It also aimed at exchanging hands-on experiences to reach the highest possible local manufacturing rate for this industry, keeping pace with technological progress in this industry in line with international quality standards and at a competitive price, by taking advantage of the technological capabilities and human expertise of military production companies, he said.

Morsi stressed the need for periodic follow-up of the ongoing work in the factory, and to ensure the high production rates of synthetic turf are reached as per the specified schedule to complete the construction of synthetic turf stadiums in youth and sports facilities nationwide.
