Egypt’s Minister of Military Production Mohamed Salah Eddin underlined that the fiscal year (FY) 2023-2024 proposed budget of the ministry’s affiliated companies and units to focus on increasing contribution to implementing national and development projects in various sectors.
This will help improve the services offered to citizens in various sectors in light of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to boost public investments, local manufacturing and transferring modern industrial technologies, he said.
He made the remarks yesterday during a meeting with a number of officials of the ministry, the National Authority for Military Production, and the heads of the boards of the affiliated companies and units.
He underlined the key role played by the ministry as a cornerstone of the military manufacturing.
Referring to the negative repercussions of the global economic crisis, he highlighted the importance of rallying up efforts to promote national economy through localizing modern technology, promoting local production and reducing the importation bills.
