CAIRO – The Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture has dismissed as baseless news carried by the media pertaining to a virus that affects and kills poultry in the farms.
The poultry production union had assured that the production cycles are regular, stressing that no health problems were reported, read a statement by the Ministry of Agriculture Monday.
The Ministry called on all media outlets to verify any information from official sources before circulating it, warning that such news could create confusion.
