Head of the Human Rights Committee at the House of Representatives Tareq Radwan met on Wednesday with Officer of Egypt’s Internal Affairs in the US State Department Lauren Kretz.
They discussed the human rights situation in Egypt and axes of the national strategy for human rights launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The meeting tackled the House’s follow-up of the government’s implementation of the national strategy for human rights.
They stressed the need for dialogue between the legislatures and executive institutions of both countries to create a state of harmony in relations at various levels.
