CAIRO – Egypt’s House of Representatives Speaker Hanafi el-Gebali referred Monday the draft statement of the State budget for the fiscal year 2022/2023 to the House budget and planning committee to prepare a report on it.
Earlier in the day, Minister of Finance Mohamed Maeet delivered a statement on the country’s 2022/23 budget before the parliament.
Gebali also referred the draft of statement of the Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala al-Saeed on 2022/2023 Sustainable Development Plan to the Senate, in line with the Constitution, for further deliberations and drawing up a report on this regard.
