CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Ayman Ashour asserted the depth of historical and distinguished relations between Egypt and Palestine.
He said Egypt is always keen on supporting the sisterly Palestinian people on all fronts, topped by higher education and scientific research.
The minister’s remarks came at a meeting with Palestinian Minister of Education and Higher Education Amjad Barham and Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Diab al Louh and their accompanying delegation.
The meeting discussed ways of boosting joint co-operation in the field of higher education and scientific research in the ministry’s HQ in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) on Monday.
Barham commended the Egyptian constant support for the Palestinian people.
He underlined the importance of joint co-operation in this vital sector.
The Palestinian official commended Egypt’s pivotal role in the region and the support and backing the country is offering to the Palestinian people in various domains.
Both sides agreed on developing a roadmap and establishing a joint committee to follow upon the implementation of the outcome of the meeting.
