Egypt’s Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi said her ministry is keen to communicate with all Egyptian communities in different countries, including the United States.
The minister’s remarks came on Saturday when she received Egypt’s Consul General in Chicago and Midwestern states of the US Sameh Aboul Enein to probe means on cementing co-operation and meeting the needs of the Egyptian community there, according to a statement issued by the ministry.
The minister lauded great contributions made by the community members to serve the society in Chicago.
For his part, Aboul Enein praised the minister’s ongoing efforts to serve all Egyptian communities abroad and meet their needs.
