CAIRO – Speaker of the House of Representatives Hanafy Gebaly on Saturday sent a cable of greetings to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the occasion of Al Isra and Al Mi’raj.
In his cable, Gebaly wished more prosperity, security, safety and stability to Egypt and the world at large.
This holy occasion is observed on the 27th day of the month of Rajab, the seventh month in the Islamic calendar.
The event marks the night in which Allah (God) took the Prophet Muhammad on a journey from Makka Al Mokarramah to Al Quds and then to heaven.
