CAIRO – Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Egyptian Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Combating Unit (EMLCU) Counselor Ahmed Saeed Khalil said the Egyptian-UAE ties is a model to follow for setting an example of integration and promotion of joint interests.
This came on Thursday in the EMLCU chairman’s word during a ceremony for inking a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UAE’s Executive Office of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing to boost cooperation and exchange expertise in this regard.
Khalil lauded the level of co-operation between both countries in the fields of combating crimes of money laundering and terrorist financing.
The meeting with the UAE side is part of continued Egyptian-UAE co-operation at the different levels over the past five decades, he said, asserting the depth and strength of ties between the two countries.
