NEW YORK – The Japanese government has announced that Head of the Arab League Mission to the UN Egyptian Ambassador Maged Abdel Fattah will be among foreigners who will be conferred the Japanese Empire Orders for the 2021 autumn.
In a statement, the Japanese UN mission said that the medal will be conferred due to his efforts as one of the organizers of the International Tokyo Conference on development in Africa.
The conference is aimed at enhancing relations between Japan and the African countries, according to the statement.
