CAIRO – The Cabinet held on Thursday its weekly meeting under Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital to discuss a number of political, economic and social files as well as the latest developments on the international arena.
During the meeting, the cabinet discussed preparations for the holy fasting month of Ramadan as well as important laws and ministerial decisions that aim to bring about progress at all levels, achieve economic and social stability and encourage investments.
The meeting will review the completion of work on national ventures, including projects of the presidential initiative “Decent Life” to develop villages in Egyptian countryside.
It will also follow up on implementation of directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, including decisions of the Supreme Council for Investment, the files of investment, industry, export, agriculture, monitoring markets, making industrial lands available to investors, the social security umbrella, and development of the various state sectors covering the health, sports, education and transportation.
Measures adopted to protect low-income brackets and provide the needs of citizens in general will also figure high during the meeting.
