The cabinet approved a presidential draft decree on an agreement on double taxation elimination, income taxes and, tax evasion between the Egyptian and Omani governments.

The agreement aims at bolstering co-operation, investment development, trade exchange, and capital movement between the two countries while avoiding double taxation and preventing tax evasion concerning income taxes.

This came during the first cabinet meeting on Tuesday under Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli after the formation of the new government.

The cabinet also approved a draft presidential decision on pardoning some detainees on the 72nd anniversary of the July 1952 revolution.

The cabinet approved a draft presidential decision on allocating about 4.94 feddans of state-owned lands in the Upper Egypt governorate of Qena for the establishment of a semi-automatic slaughterhouse, within the framework of expanding the establishment of developed slaughterhouses to provide safe meat in accordance with the necessary health requirements.

The cabinet approved a draft presidential decision on allocating about 3580.1 feddans of state-owned lands in Beheira governorate for Future of Egypt to be used in implementing some development projects.

The cabinet approved another draft presidential decision on allocating about 138.89 feddans of state-owned lands in Beheira governorate for Future of Egypt to be used in implementing some development projects.
