Ahmed ElShennawy, chairman of ADVA developments and EBA member, visited on Friday several orphanages in the Sheikh Zayed and 6th of October cities on the occasion of the “Orphan’s Day”.
Celebrated each year on the first Friday of April, the celebrities gathered scores of orphans with public figures.
During the visits, ElShennawy distributed presents and clothes personally, and talked to the kids, and heard their dreams, concerns and wants; saying “Today, we all celebrate as one family”.
ElShennawy also expressed his support for dedicating a day in Egypt and the Arab world to celebrate children who belong to our society, considering this day “as a message from the society that they belong to a bigger family and are an integral part”.
He congratulated all the children, wishing them a bright and productive future.
On the sidelines of the visits, meetingswere held with caretakers to identify the orphans’ needs and their requirements, in a bid to establish a line of cooperation between them and the EBA as part of its social responsibility in the area.
Considered an active member in the public service through his membership in the Egyptian Businessmen Association and the rotary clubs of Egypt, ElShennawy established several companies in the fields of construction and real estate spheres that operate under the umbrella of ADVA developments.
