CAIRO – The Cabinet media centre released a video which shed light on hundreds of commodities outlets that were established nationwide ahead of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
The video explained that the State has exerted strenuous efforts to mitigate the impact of the global economic crisis on the citizens and was keen on setting up around 500 “Ahlan (welcome) Ramadan” exhibitions in the various governorates along with the operation of the outlets affiliated with the Interior Ministry, the Agriculture Ministry and the Armed Forces National Services Projects Authority.
The videograph also reviewed the various initiatives launched by the State to provide commodities to citizens at affordable prices including the campaign of “We Are All One” which comprised a total of 1,074 outlets nationwide involving 31 commerical chains.
The video also depicted the high turnout by citizens on the various outlets where sugar, rice, meat, poultry and other Ramadan essentials are provided at low costs compared with the regular suprmarkets.
