CAIRO – Mokhtar Abdel Latif, president of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI), has stressed that the authority works on enhancing partnerships and co-operation with experts to localise modern manufacturing technology and support digital transition plans under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Abdel Latif made the remarks during the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the AOI’s Arab British for Dynamics Industries (ABD) and China’s Zhejiang Songchuan Instrument Technology Co.,Ltd.
Both sides are set to work on cementing co-operation on establishing developed production lines to localise technology for manufacturing smart and prepaid natural gas meters and train the organisation’s engineers and technicians to use state-of-the-art technologies, Abdel Latif said.
For his part, the chairman of the Chinese company underlined the importance for strengthening co-operation with the AOI in different domains.
