Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inspected the Military Academy on Thursday. He was accompanied by Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Osama Askar and a number of senior commanders of the Armed Forces.

The President participated in a number of activities and exercises included in the cadets’ daily fitness routine, which aims to help maintain their physical fitness.

The President also witnessed the military training exercises that are conducted in accordance with the latest systems in this regard. These exercises showed the new cadets’ self-confidence and high level of discipline during the military preparation period.

The President also inspected a number of training areas, including passing through the educational swimming pool, the developed fitness fields, the open physical preparation field, and the battle simulator field, during which he witnessed the cadets while implementing a shooting exercise in the shooting simulator.

The President praised the high level of preparation of the new cadets and called on them to maintain their physical fitness and high physical and mental readiness and to show the lofty and noble military values that have always characterised the long-standing Egyptian Armed Forces institution.

Sisi also conducted an open dialogue with the new cadets on a number of local and regional issues. He reviewed the efforts made by the Egyptian state in various fields so that they can properly assess the situation on a sound knowledge basis.

The President also met with a number of families and parents of the new cadets during their visit to their sons, and he expressed appreciation to them for the effort they exert in raising their sons on principles and values rooted in patriotism.
